Warehousing
We operate more than half a million square feet of top-quality food grade space, all of which is rail served with multiple shifts. Ambient, refrigerated and humidity controlled space is available. Our high standards have been rewarded by the American Institute of Baking and The American Sanitation Institute with superior ratings. Our locations are well suited for small parcel, motor and rail carrier service.
Transportation
We also operate a freight consolidation and brokerage company: Fastway Terminals, providing the transportation services needed to lower your overall freight costs. Fastway does this by using a fully integrated transportation software package that handles everything from LTL consolidation to small shipment costing. We also handle carrier selection, carrier negotiations and inbound and outbound shipping.
Consolidation
Our client base includes the retail grocery, food service and food manufacturing industries. We also serve major home improvement customers and various general merchandisers. With this core business we have the opportunity to combine shipments and leverage our volume with carriers to achieve even greater rate discounts. These savings are passed on to our clients to help reduce their overall transportation cost.
